By downloading, installing, or using InStory ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and InStory. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

You retain ownership of content you create and share on InStory. By posting content, you grant InStory a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

4.2 Content Standards

You may not post content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Infringes any intellectual property rights
  • Contains nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence not appropriate for the platform
  • Spreads misinformation or is deceptive
  • Constitutes spam or unsolicited commercial content
  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations

4.3 AI-Generated Content

InStory uses artificial intelligence to generate and transform story content. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may be imperfect and that InStory makes no warranties about the accuracy or quality of AI-generated content.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and original content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by InStory and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without permission.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Collect user data without consent
  • Use the Service to send spam or malicious content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the Service

7. In-App Purchases

The Service may offer virtual items, subscriptions, or other premium features for purchase. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Prices are subject to change with notice.

In-app purchases are subject to the terms of the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) through which you make the purchase.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INSTORY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INSTORY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
